About Flavours Foods

The company has been created as very much a family-owned and family-run business with the traditional values of producing quality products and providing a quality service to our customers.

We see our customers as partners and our aim is to work together for the good of both parties in the promotion and ongoing success of our businesses.

We have a policy of encouraging advancement for all our staff by means of education and training, both in-house and on external courses. An example of this ethos can be seen in our team leaders who have a wide range of experience and qualifications including first aid, intermediate hygiene, advanced diploma in food safety and hygiene and manual handling. All our staff are continuing to improve their knowledge on an on going basis.

Having had our Production Director retire we have restructured our senior management team by promoting a blend of young and enthusiastic existing junior managers

 

Our Management Team
Steve Hattee
(Managing Director)

Steve came from a Butchery background and has been in the food industry all his working life. He has held senior management positions with both an international frozen food manufacturer and a large wholesale meat plant, before co-founding Flavours he was the operations director of a chilled food company.
Daniel Hattee
(Operations Manager)

Responsible for the day to day running of the site, all technical matters and sales. Daniel has now been in the food industry for more than 10 years and has moved through the business in that time. His previous roles include Technical Coordinator and Technical Manager. He then moved to become Technical/Sales Manager and now Operations Manager. Having worked on the shop floor as a young man he has a well grounded understanding of all aspects of the business.
Ben Cuthbert
(Factory Manager)

Responsible for the day to day running of the production rooms and their staff. All health and safety, maintenance and transport on site. Ben joined our industry around 9 years ago and has worked his way through our business at a rapid rate; he brings an understanding of production values into his role along with a good working relationship with all his staff.
Michael Hall
(Accounts and Office Coordinator)

Responsible for administration and day to day accounts, working closely with Dawn our accountant. Again he has a firm knowledge of all sides of our business and started as our despatch supervisor. Which involved customer and supplier liaison and organising our in house transport.
Dawn O'Donnell CIMA, IPPM
(Company Accountant)

Dawn originates from an accounting background, she started her career working for a Chartered Accoutants gaining experience and knowledge in all accounting aspects. Dawn previously worked for a large Chilled Food company and a major high street clothing retailer. She has worked in accounts for over 18 years and has gained vast experience in all levels of accountancy including payroll, personal and company tax.
